That upset there though was in a statehouse by election, with what looks like a particularly bad Republican. Normally they'll come up with someone who says enough to keep the base onside but runs primarily as an outsider veteran or businessman.

Tubbs is right about that election being about the Republican candidate being even more of an arsehole than usual, but I do think this decision on Roe will have an effect maybe not to the extent in this election but certianly down the line.
