WFH, elf and safety, people are all lazy, some puerile "they're all as bad as each other" stuff about the Tories, along with some dog whistling about That Lot taking over, and let's laugh at the quueeahs.

I love the way that he says we just got on with it when we had a heatwave in the 70's. At the time he was an industrial correspondent who by his own accounts spent most of his days in the pub. I think most of us could just get on with it if getting on with it meant boozing all day.

It's an equally simplistic response, and I know it's far from a complete answer, but how do these "we just got on with everything back then, never did us any harm" merchants square that contention with the fact that life expectancy in GB is ten years greater now than in the mid seventies?

Littlecock reacts to interminable Westminster navel-gazing" with some interminable...yeah, you get the idea.
A very muddled piece that veers all over the place and comes to the conclusion that they're all crap, so isn't it a shame unelected bureaucrat (sorry, respected senior statesman) David Frost isn't standing? Because he's a maaaan, and he'd sort it aaaaht.

The Tory leadership election are a nightmare for Littlejohn. The only white, male candidate is likely to be knocked out on Monday leaving them with a final four of two white women and two candidates of colour. He is only backing Truss because of his Thatcher fetish.

Since Penny-For-Your-Thoughts declared her candidacy, we’ve discovered she’s swallowed the whole woke agenda. I can’t imagine the Tory ladies in Much Binding In The Marsh backing someone who isn’t sure whether a woman can have a penis and tried to push through a Bill referring to expectant mothers as ‘pregnant people’.
You have to be at least 90 to recall hearing the radio show Much Binding in the Marsh. Most of these Tory ladies knowingly backed a morally repellent piece of sludge for PM. If these uptight moralists in WI hats still exist outside of LJ’s limited imagination they’re probably voting Lib Dem, now.

I suspect he spends most of his prep time thinking up "hilarious" nicknames for people.
I noticed that Kemi Badenoch was described as the "Countdown conundrum candidate", which, alliteration aside, really is fucking awful.

Didn’t get that reference. Is this because she wears girly swot glasses?

Unless you listened to it on Radio 4 Extra.

He won't be alone:
There must be a big crowd of former Federation of Conservative Students loners
Sad cases who used to Fap for Maggie in their empty evenings.

You know those TV debates that the Tories are suddenly not so keen on? Yeah, you know whose fault that is? The lefties!
Meanwhile some wishing of death upon environmentalists, some anti-Trans people bollocks, and some bizarre thing about rural crime which he blames on Romanians, and goes into a Jeremy Clarkson/Tony Martin fantasy about shooting people in the back.

I’m intrigued to know why the farm shop left £16,000 in their safe overnight. And that’s a lot of takings for a food shop even it is selling overpriced jam to posh people. ‘It was a busy week,’ they told the insurance company.

If half a dozen absentee workers can cripple a country’s main artery as LJ claims, it would be something New Jersey Teamsters in the 60s would have thought of. So we’d know about from a Springsteen song or a Scorsese movie.
