And meanwhile, Nad STILL hasn't applied for the Manor of Northstead or the Chiltern Hundreds.

Another tactic, or just more idiotic incompetence ?

Low cunning. She'll time it for maximum coverage at the time of the Tory conference.

Or else stupidity.

Idiocy. I'd wager she doesn't even know how to step down as an MP and she'll literally have to be handheld through the process. She's that monumentally thick.

Until this all kicked off she didn’t even realise she was an MP

Phil Moorhouse is on the case.

Dorries employs her daughter as her "Senior Parlimentary Assistant", so when she goes her daughter will be out of a job. Could be a reason why she is stringing it out.

Nad is so slow witted, I fully expect that she’ll be sat in a care home in her late 80s/90s, staring at a cup of milky tea and pondering what’s for dinner, and then her eyes will slowly widen and her head will tilt up and she’ll exclaim “wait a minute - he was lying to me too!”.

And here she is, wallowing in her depths of self-pity and victimhood.

If only she had known what Johnson thought of scousers...

Perhaps somebody pointed out the stupidity of resigning from a well paid job a couple of weeks before parliament is set to closedown for nearly 3 months.

Nadine Dorries refuses to resign officially until No 10 explains her lack of peerage

My office continues to function as normal and will of course continue to serve my constituents of Mid Bedfordshire as we have done for the last 18 yrs until this time.

Function as normal? That’ll be doing fuck all, then.

In past political discussions I've sometime referred to some places or constituencies where the vote for one political party is so entrenched that I say "...they could get a monkey, dress it up in a (blue/red/yellow/green/choose colour) waistcoat & matching rosette, and it would still get elected."

Ms. Dorries, The Tories & Mid-Bedfordshire are probably the closest combination in Britain right now for the above metaphor.

Yes, the announcement of her resignation and the imminent vacancy has been greeted with great excitement in the monkey enclosure at Woburn Safari Park.

Will this "hell" take the form of a long, self-indulgent, speech?
Or will it be in written form.

We've probably reached time to run the "hide the crayons" protocol.
