It's all it's ever been. It's also true for all of us really. The difference is the interest in promoting a warped form of liberty-that's-actually-authoritarian, or, well, liberty.

Good to see another spate of judicial appointments recently, including some in states that are likely to be very tightly contested in future elections (such as Ohio and Georgia). I suppose Biden is working on the rather gloomy/realistic assumption that whichever vacancies aren't filled by the November midterms, aren't going to be filled at all beyond then.
At least six people have been killed and 10 injured in a shooting in the centre of Sacramento, police in California's state capital say.

Yeah, but it's in California, which tries to be sensible on guns within Federal Law. So that proves that no restrictions at all work, or something.

I can't remember the exact state at the moment but their local Republican party are campaigning to remove the minimum age restriction for marriage
