So who's the news heavyweight now, Alistair Stewart?
He was doing Partridge-style Crash Bang Wallop 25 years ago. Not Walt Cronkite.

Apparently Isabel Oakeshott has now joined the channel. I can't really see how she is going to drive up the viewing figures.

Kissinger and the Nobel Peace Prize, you have a rival.

I do wonder if Brillo's original vision was a kind of LBC sort of thing - a more rightward bias than usual, but with enough sensible voices to balance out the nutters.
Instead the board seem to have over ruled him, and it's full steam ahead to Hurrah For The Blackshirts TV. Still, if you lay down with dogs....

Biggins: 2 years took him from I Claudius to Rentaghost - the trajectory continues.

I've probably watched no more than two minutes of GB. I've read plenty about it though and I'm curious to know if there's any attempt to provide a balanced view. If not, how are they getting away with it?

Because Ofcom are fucking useless?

Presumably the vast majority of viewers watch the channel because of it's right wing bias so they are unlikely to complain to OFCOM because of the lack of balance. I think 50,000 people complained about Piers Morgan to trigger an OFCOM investigation so I'm guessing the entire audience of GB News would have to complain to trigger an investigation.

This is news. GB News correspondent gets it correct, BBC and Sky don't.

With broadcaster, Mike Read, mind.
Say what you like about Andrew Neil, but he had a better contacts book than this.

Big guns Martin Daubney and Anne Widdecombe to replace former journalists. Wtf did MCoy and other old hands think they were signing for?

McCoy probably thought he was special because South Park caricatured him.
Is GBNews unravelling, or is it actually finding its niche?
