Brought to my attention in another place, this tasteful act of Remembrance in Glasgow.
What utter fuckwits.

Remember when it was the Russkies and the Norks who'd fap off about military hardware.
this sort of walting has no place at Remembrance day.

What kind of weapons-grade twat thinks a quiet act of Remembrance can be improved by bringing an Armoured Reconnaissance Vehicle along? Did he and his equally twattish mate think it would"add value" to what is supposed to be a quiet and dignified event?
It's an act of Remembrance, *not* a fucking role-playing game, you fucking morons.

It seems like a game to so many of them, led by those at the very top who play the same games.

Attention seekers, that's who.
The report doesn't state the party allegience of the 2 local politicians involved, but it's a "classic dom" move.
Arse about in a tracked vehicle.
Anybody questioning your behaviour "Hates our troops", "Is a traytur", "Has questionable football loyalties".
So you can then launch a twitter witchhunt, and blame "The left", or "We know who".
Great plan, till you crush a garden of remembrance.

Rangers men, strong, selfless and true, have given loyal service to the British Army for more than a century. (It was either that or more intergenerational unemployment.)
They don't get to start the wars, they just assemble the identifiable remnants of fallen comrades for repatriation to their mothers in some of the most deprived communities in Scotland.
To you and me, this "celebration" of remembrance might appear to be overly theatrical. To the men who volunteer to live with the stench and the filth and the fear of frontline war, it is their way of reminding you and me of their role and their sacrifice, and expressing their rage at the leaving of so many surviving soldiers to their piss-soaked fate in the doorway of your local Greggs.
I salute these accidental warriors.
