You do realise we went into Afghanistan because Article V of NATO was enacted right?

You do realise that nowhere in that post did I say Afghanistan, right?

The point was that for someone like Murdoch to dismiss a major western nation because in his view they're not killing enough people*, well, that kind of sums up the small dick armchair military action movie mentality that he and so many others have. Can't be a real man unless you're a killer.

*And ignoring Germany's rather obvious reasons for not wanting to be all gung ho and shit.

According to Reuters and AP, President Ashraf Ghani has left Afghanistan.

That's pretty much it then.

Really what this Times leader actually say? or did you just half read it and are now paraphrasing it/ What's Murdoch got to do with Afghanistan anyway? We went into Afghanistan because a terrorist attack was planned and launched there. Why was a terrorist attack planned and launched there because the country had become a failed state after a decade of war and in that vacumn the Taliban had come to power and provided a safe haven for terrorists not because Rupert Murdoch said we need to invade Afghanistan.

Were you born a fucking moron, or did you take lessons?

The leader I referred to was about Syria. Hence "Arabs", as only a dim witted cunt would think of Arabs and Afghans as the same people. The point being made was that, had you read this thread, for some right wing opinion makers (and yes, I think you can include Murdoch among those), the cathartic thrill of watching what they view as lesser beings dying horribly in rains of fire from above, is more important to them than establishing lasting peace or enacting meaningful change.

Now fuck off.

@Andy McDandy,

You're out of order.

I also took "some Arabs" as a generic display of ignorance on the part of the original author and, by implication, Murdoch, especially as you have posted this in the midsts of a conversation about Afghanistan and the pivotal actions of the US and the UK.

This isn't a difference of opinion, it is a bad-tempered misunderstanding, so please go back and edit your posts.

@The Weeping Angel Please, for the sake of harmony, do the same.

(And no, I am not comfortable making this post. I am even less comfortable with the originals being allowed to stand.)

Lives of Afghans are nothing compared to sticking it to somebody who retired 14 years ago. Hilariously some people BTL seems to think this makes Blair a liar.

Note the contrast with this far sighted political genius. What was the second part of the plan?

He personally wants Tony Blair to rock up and tell the world what they should do.

That’s odd because every time he does they tell him to eff off.

Also the taliban would have remained in control regardless. Doing nothing is Corbyn all over though.
