I think we have reached the point now when even the Mail has thrown in the towel with Johnson. They have done a big splash on the website about the latest revelations and most of the comments under the article were slagging off Johnson.

The big problem with Johnson is that he's very good at spending other people's money, which just isn't Conservative. It's what lefties do and I suspect a lot of Tories and Mail reader see Johnson as a leftie.

"He's not even a conservative" is becoming a popular trope on ConservativeHome.

But they do have form for labelling hard right populists as socialist.
There was that other guy, flamboyant speaker, back in the thirties .....

His environmental policy gets him labelled in some quarters as a wet liberal dominated by his wife.

The Mail on Sunday has an article today which tries to clear Prince Charles of any wrong doing in the cash for honours scandal. The articles quotes a close friend of Prince Charles.
A friend of Prince Charles last night insisted the heir to the throne had been 'outraged' when he discovered his closest aide had offered honours and British citizenship to the wealthy Saudi donor in return for donations to his charity.
https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... mailonline

Given that the friend isn't named I wonder if the quote could have conveniently come from Paul Dacre himself.

Once Geordie Grieg went, I thought this was only a matter of time until Paul "Cunt" Dacre finally got his coveted gong. Though I reckoned it would be on the pork haystack's outgoing honours list, the schedule seems to have been advanced by a couple of years.

If that's the price, it seems Johnson's disproportionately worried about that Carrie job story, I wonder is yet to emerge?

Isn't it basically a similar level of corruption the pork haystack had with his "IT lessons" from Jennifer Arcuri? Why is he particularly sensitive about this story breaking?
