Good timing, Michelle. I'd have kept quiet instead of turning it up to 11.

Aside from calling other Conservatives (including probably the Attorney General) "liberals", Cates has a go at jurisprudence.

Government can sign international agreements and then vote to ignore them. And who are these "activists"? Does she mean judges? Does she want them to be removable by politicians, or directly elected? I think I know which side are the real conservatives.

No fan of Aspana Begum but this is blatant racism by Richard Holden. Why would Begum be a particular bete noire, I wonder?!

(And anyway, why is criticising this an offence that would cost the whip? I don't recally Cameron taking the whip off the 30 Tory MPs who voted against bombing Syria in 2013)

Funnily enough, those are the colour order of the rings he's just painted on his own back.

Apparently, 30p Lee and Brendan Clarke-Smith have resigned as Conservative Party Deputy Chairmen in order to vote down the Rwanda shite if it’s not amended to their liking.

Hey ho. They’ve still got about another 150 Deputy Chairs.

That's 37p Lee resigning himself to be little more than "old man yells at cloud". without his Deputy Party Chairman title he's nothing more than a GBeebies hack masquerading as an MP.

Well done, Sunak. Nobody could have seen Lee bailing on you when it was convenient. Reckon he'll stick with the Tories and hope split opposition keeps him in office, then join Reform if he loses.

The rump end of poor Lee's ill-starred political career, unless Sunak elevates him to the Lords. Which is entirely possible.

Richard Tice has already invited them to join Reform. They’d fit right in there - not least of which because of course they don’t have any MPs so there’s a shitload of space.

Farewell to the last office-holding Corbynite in British politics.

Anderson can see how badly the Tories are doing in the polls, if he wants to cling onto his seat he will need to put in the hours in his constituency so ditching the Deputy chair job will give him a better chance of keeping his seat especially if Reform give him an easy ride.

To be frank, I think that Anderson has as much hope of holding his seat as Elvis has of coming back to life and starting up a company successfully selling Shergar samosas.

I'm not so sure. Sutton in Ashfield is a pretty odd place. It's the kind of place that would vote Tory for the sheer hell of it.

Tried to take a look, the site seems to have crashed under the weight of all that foam.
