I'd be quite happy for him to get a £5m pound pay off right now if he promised to f**k off right immediately and never appear in the media ever again.

Boris Johnson stands to make £5m a year after No 10, say experts
‘say experts’ appears to be a quote from Tom Bower. Johnson’s stock will be so low when he’s ousted he’ll be on the Neil Hamilton circuit. A sad old cunt thinking he’s a participant in post modern irony.

Can't see him wowing the lucrative US lecture circuit (TM) with his "sorry I'm late, stupid elf and safety, ha ha, big women's tits!, yes, I just said tits, anyway, what's this award I'm giving out?" routine.

The £5m is based on whoever he’s sold the naming rights for No10 to

He can write a book about how he was the best PM ever and got all the “big key decisions” right.
It will end up in plentiful supply in every charity bookshop within a month like all his other garbage books.

There's the Hilary Clinton type circuit, and the wingnut welfare one. Nothing stopping him going full for the second one. Steve Hilton can advise.

Johnson's plan for NI getting a pasting generally. But he's got this heavyweight jurist (a commercial lawyer and Tory councillor) in his corner. If I understand him correctly, he's saying you can make international commitments disappear by changing domestic law.

Of all the Tory justice secretaries to accuse of ignorance, Gauke isn't the one you'd necessarily alight on. He was a City solicitor for 8 years before becoming an MP, and went back to one of his previous firms as Head of Policy after losing his seat.

This is pretty ominous. The Tories were doing badly enough on voters sitting it out and letting the Lib Dems make progress. Now more seem to be switching directly.

Saw my partner's grandad today. 90 years old, dyed in the wool Tory, formerhead of localassociation. His verdict?
"Johnson's a twat. Never going to vote for him, or anyone who supports him".
OK, his local MP is Andrew Bridgen, but even so...
