I think they're just flailing around trying to find some sort of policy which will appeal to the masses, and they haven't thought it all the way through. Which is typical of these intellectual lightweights.
This is, in an odd way, reassuring. Desperate flailing is infinitely preferable to genuine fascist scheming.

I think you have to let the idea that this is a government of Geniuses lie.

Even if it did lead to some positives for them it’s probably by error.

The European Court of Human Rights in Strasbourg is politicised and sometimes at odds with British values, Suella Braverman has said.

The home secretary was speaking to the BBC one day after acknowledging her plan to stop small boat crossings could be challenged in the Strasbourg court.

Asked if she could ignore the court, she said a balance should be "struck"...

At odds with British values? Or at odds with the values of a xenophobic fascist minority who are also at odds with British values?

I'll leave that as an exercise for the reader.

Personally, I think the majority of British people still believe in fairness and legality, and this shite plays well only with the knuckle-dragging minority, many of whom never bother going to vote anyway. But you can't explain that to a bunch of fuckwits who have transformed themselves into the political wing of the EDL.

Leaving the EHCR isn’t that popular when you ask it straight, without a Goodwin hint.

Geniuses, never. Scheming bastards unconcerned with collateral damage, absolutely.

Further reassurance that the "even vermin are better than us" party have no plans to put pressure on services in non-Tory areas

A Ministry of Defence site that the Home Office is considering using to accommodate asylum seekers has a range of contamination risks including undetonated explosives, ground contamination and asbestos, according to government documents...

https://amp.theguardian.com/uk-news/202 ... lum-centre
The site under consideration is RAF Wethersfield in Essex. Local MP is the woefully misnamed James Cleverly.

No plan. No new ideas. No clue.

Claims of drug supply and usage will be evidence by the local magistrates.

Not happened? "Just making shit up" is the only explanation, and Sunak would do well to suggest she takes an extended Easter break.

Because at the moment we’re all big fans of police chiefs, particularly ones in the Met.

Cressida Dick probably.

She exactly knew what was going on.

Thing is if she felt this policy was decent she wouldn’t have to fling an insult in every second word.

Wouldn’t take many phone calls to establish the existence of these chief constables. Telling porkies to the house is not advisable.

I dunno. I suspect she could have the best policy in the world and would still fling in insults because *she’s* not decent.
