Climate breakdown may well be Trump's legacy but he's not a trigger happy cowboy in foreign affairs threatening to nuke countries. Whether his isolationism will make this part of the world more unstable is dependent on how European powers respond to Trump's NATO withdrawal.

RFK is big on clamping down on industrial processed food. No more Cheetos or Captain Crunch for Maga voters.

The entire Trump vortex is a massive of seething contradictions, internally and with all the supposed values of his fans.

This transition period is utterly bonkers.
As we discovered with Johnson, laws, checks and balances only operate when people are willing and able to enforce them.

Irrespective of Iran’s place in the world, I’m sure their leadership are very capable of spotting a twat

Bit of a Fesshole, but I rather like being in the USA.

I like traditional diners, I like guitar shops, I like the new wave of craft beers in long, narrow bars. In fact, I had been thinking leaning on the Kreuzette with a view to a brief-ish holiday in late-winter.

If that means rubbing shoulders with disease-ridden maniacs for ten days, Madeira might be a better option. Or Kabul.
