The current wave of arrests has got me wondering - what's the most serious charge Farage, Tice, Hopkins, Ten-Names and the Southport woman can be done for?

Never more than a casual reader, but surely the New Statesman of my youth wasn’t quite this awful.
Calling Mr Tanner a defeated election candidate is being rather kind, like he was running in some Midlands marginal or something. He lost Bury St Edmunds on a 21.6% swing.
Is there anything you can't pin on loss of civility? People who attack the cops don't sound like obviously civil types.

Be plenty freemen of the law types in this lot.
The originator of the bogus Southport Tweet has been arrested, a renowned anti vax conspiracist and regular GBeebies talking head Bernie Spofforth. A wealthy business owner in Cheshire and oh an immigrant originally from South Africa
White South Africa’s rarely fail my stereotype, apologies to any who do.

Farage, in my opinion, stopped short of incriminating himself. He knows how to do it and is really good at it. I think Tice did the same although even played a bit safer still. They whipped up anger and did all they could to muddy the waters but in my completely unexpert opinion they won't have broken the law. Farage did parrot the lies but with weasels words and probably did just about enough to get away with legally. In terms of public opinion though, he's getting a fucking hammering! Including from 'Robinson' supporters for throwing him under the bus. He's fucking fuming and feeling the heat, of that there's no doubt. Squirming little rat,
Hopkins, Lennon and Fox all need pulling in, though. Two of them outright pushed the made up 'Muslim name' and the fake story around it. Fox literally called for war and has enough tweets to be done for incitement. They're more demonstrably guilty than the guy that got sentenced today for online activities. They won't get done, though. As much as I am hugely impressed with Starmer/the police/courts response, they just won't quite have the balls to arrest those 3 unfortunately. Hopkins is broke as fuck and washed up, so might be easy pickings. The other two have deeper pockets and will take it all the way. And in Lennons case it'd get really messy and probably spark the riots off again. I think the police will make a tactical decision and not take it further. He has got other outstanding cases to answer to anyway!

It's probably for the best, at the moment anyway, Sun Lounger Tommeh is out of the country and unlikely to return any time soon, else he faces arrest. They can get him arrested and extradited when more time passes and things have cooled. While many of his Yaxley's brownshirts will hear what Farage says, Farage has to temper his language but controls the overall narrative. Tommy's thugs react to direct instruction. They're less likely to follow Fox either, most of them will barely be aware of who Laurence Fox is. Fox and Farage are more for your Mail/Express armchair type racist.

Fox and Hopkins have only got the “martyr” card left to play

I wouldn't be surprised if Farage, Tice and probably Lil' Tommy have expensive lawyers on call to ensure they never overstep the mark. Fox is a joke figure and Hopkins an irrelevance. That leaves the footsoldiers, some of whom are no doubt Freeman types and others will be the sort who think reading daft stuff online makes them a legal expert.
They'll put you in jail for rioting, looting and arson, these days.

Quite a few of them have put this up. It's like when a business puts up "we accept no liability for anything that happens to you while you're here". ie it's as legally relevant as pronouncing yourself a freeman on the land.
