I glean from Twitter that it is anti-vaxxer night on BBC Question Time. Is this for fucking real?

Yeah, don't know why they devoted almost a whole programme to it. They only got a couple of antivaxxers in the audience who tried to make their 'case' and the panel demolished them pretty easily. The Johnson bit was more interesting.

I see that Emma Barnett has announced that Monday's Newsnight, in which she eviscerated Paul Scully, will be her last. That'll please the #biasedBBC mob.
Who's next? Emily Maitlis?

That's nothing.

I heard that Boris completely died of Covid.
But Steve Baker and Jacob Mogg asked Jesus to send him back to finish his mission here on earth.

With Farage busy on GBeebies, the BBC needed an equivalent international relations specialist to provide balance.

I missed that thankfully.

The BBC has been using graphics like this one to show where Ukraine refugees are heading. How convenient for the government that our piss poor figures have been grouped together with other European countries. Britain has issued less than 100 visas but Germany has allowed in 64,000. How can you bracket these two countries together?

Meanwhile, in the long-running series Sticks With Which To Beat The BBC:

Mark Page: Former Radio 1 DJ guilty of child sex offences

You can imagine what the DM comments page looks like.

Splendid news that Laura Kuenssberg has been given the job of permanent host of the BBC’s flagship Sunday morning political show.

I think that Laura is one of the best political journalists in the UK, and should do a great job - definitely better than Marr.

I was unimpressed by the placard-waving Corbynite simpletons hysterically screaming “BIAS” whenever she was obliged to report on Jezza’s uselessness.

Well done, Laura. Looking forward to it.

I'm hoping that Fenton's pet Trot will explode at that news.

I remember when Fenton's blog was about much more than bloody politics too. When it was interesting.

He's always had his pet obsessions. His seemingly endless fascination with actor Tracy-Ann Oberman and Countdown's Rachel Riley are not at all creepy. Nor was his breathless reporting on the movements of Karen "wife of Simon" Danczuk.

The pet Trot does a nice little line in misogyny too, particularly around Laura K. I recently had a spat with him, when he started whatabouting Ukraine. Asked him if he'd ever tried not being a cunt. Apparently that makes me a Mail reading Nazi.

Yes, I saw that

There are quite a few people who, even before Putin marched in, were convinced that Ukraine really was full of fash.

I can remember Fenton regularly getting his lefty ass handed to him on a plate over on the uk.railway newsgroup.

I’m such a big, soft shite. When Attenborough intones “all of us” at the end of this superb little video, I amost burst into tears. Love that guy.

The BBC Trust does not comprise placard-waving Corbynite simpletons.

She should have been bounced off to Spiked or the Telegraph years ago.
