This is the problem with either thinking or even just portraying that you know everything - you end up incapable of actually learning anything (see "...tired of experts").

Romanian authorities change human trafficking charge against Andrew Tate

Prosecutors say social media influencer being investigated for more serious crime of ‘human trafficking in continued form’

Romanian prosecutors say they have changed a human trafficking charge against the social media influencer Andrew Tate to a more serious one.

Tate, his brother Tristan and two other suspects were now being investigated for human trafficking in continued form, according to prosecutors, who said it was a more serious crime than separate counts of trafficking.

The Tate brothers and two Romanian women, Georgiana Naghel and Luana Radu, are under house arrest pending a criminal investigation for suspected human trafficking, rape and forming a criminal gang to sexually exploit women, accusations they have denied.

Under Romanian legislation, prosecutors have filed charges against the four suspects, but the case is under investigation and has not yet gone to trial. Prosecutors are expected to commit them for trial later in June.

Albanian is an ethnicity as well as a nationality. The language is, like Finnish or Basque, unrelated to other European tongues. The culture and heritage are distinct - distinct enough to be used as excuses for racial and social persecution for centuries. Being Muslim in the otherwise Orthodox Christian Balkans is an otherwise differentiating factor too.

Ultimately, be they in downtown Tirana, Kosovo, playing for the Swiss football team, or copping off with Tessa Thompson*, plenty of people identify as Albanian regardless of place of birth or current location.

*Actress best known perhaps as Valkyrie from the Thor films, and as the partner of the titular character in the recent "Creed" films, continuing the "Rocky" boxing saga. Was photographed getting very jiggy with Ora and her partner, the film director Taika Waititi. The lucky fucking bastard.

Minor correction: Albanian is indeed Indo-European, but only very distantly related to other living languages.

Notwithstanding Andy's informative ethnicity lesson, I very much doubt that Mr. Davidson was visiting Kosovo to meet with an enclave of ethnic Albanians.
