In whiny, poor-us, you-can't say-anything- these - days, right wing circles, it seems that Greg Wallace is fast becoming one of their culture war heroes:

'he's done nothing wrong, it's just a few soft, lefty, woke women who hate real men and it's the BBC's fault anyway, he's the real victim and everyone I know agrees'.

That's tipping over into 'yet another perv that the BBC covered up.'

That must be a real headmelt for some of them......what is he "banter victim", or BBC pervert?

The BBC bashers don't like it when you point out that most of Gregg Wallace's work was actually for small production companies rather than the BBC. In fact one of the companies he worked for was Shine which was formally owned by one of the Murdoch clan.

It wasn't kids or bumsex, therefore it was okay.
And yet I've seen him compared to Savile by the anti-BBC mob.

Hey Harry, you whinging get, you haven't been unjustly imprisoned for years so stop whining. You don't know what suffering is.

Meanwhile, you know who's really suffering? Nice Kate, that's who.

Also, here are some fat people I don't like. And some BBC people I think are getting paid too much. And finally.....oh, who cares?

In which Amanda decides to tell all about the men who have harassed and groped her over the years. Yes, she's a tough Aussie who put them all in their place (while wearing lovingly remembered high fashion outfits), but she's decided to care about all the stupid little girls who need to grow a backbone and stop whingeing - no, sorry, that was last month.

She also decided not to name any of the sex pest because she is saving that for her autobiography! In other words she will only name them for the right amount of money.

I did like this titbit.
Then, perhaps most surprisingly of all, when working in politics, I asked for a meeting with a Left-wing media executive to discuss the hostile coverage we felt we were receiving.
Does this mean that she only expected to be sexual harassed by right wing media executives and politicians?

For the second week in a row Platell is attacking Meghan for visiting victims of the fires in LA.
I could hardly believe my eyes when I opened my Daily Mail on Wednesday to see a picture of my neighbour and friend Becks being embraced by the Princess of Wales at London's Royal Marsden Hospital.

Of course I asked her how it happened. Was it set up? Becks, full name Rebecca Mendlesohn, replied no, it happened by accident. She'd taken a breather outside during her cancer treatment and when she got back inside Kate was passing through the ward.

Since Becks's hair is only just beginning to grow back, the princess recognised her as a fellow cancer traveller, so stopped and – much to Becks's surprise – just hugged her.

Becks told me: 'There's a hug and there's a hug. It was so genuine I knew she was feeling my pain and I was feeling hers. It was very emotional, heartfelt and warm. I felt the love. We felt for each other.'

Kate's display of empathy at the hospital where she was treated could not be more different from the description of her by Meghan in the Sussexes' Netflix documentary. The duchess accused her of being 'formal', and not 'huggable' when they met.

Meghan described herself, by contrast, as a 'hugger' whose informality was 'jarring for the royals'.

Well, the truth wins out in the end. Kate makes an unannounced visit to her cancer ward and hugs sufferers – Meghan, meanwhile, is pilloried as an 'ambulance chaser' by Hollywood star Justine Bateman for what she called a 'repulsive photo-op' at a centre for victims of the Los Angeles fires.

What a telling little incident Becks's encounter turned out to be. Not just proof that decency and honesty shine through but also that, despite Meghan's efforts, there is only one winner in The Hugging Games.
There are more than a few problems with story. Harry and Meghan visiting people who live relatively close to them does not equate to disaster tourism. And presumably if they had not visited the victims they would have been pilloried for being uncaring. Secondly the idea that Kate just rocked up at a cancer ward and bumped into a cancer patients a few days after Meghan had been photographed comforting victims in LA is laughable. Kate and William have surrounded themselves with a team of former tabloid journalists and executives whose job it is to set up these photo-opportunity.

Showing compassion is not some kind of competition.

Amanda's cutting edge journalism hits new highs:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/a ... arkle.html

She has a 'sneaking suspicion' about why Prince Harry settled out of court with NGN. Turns out it's the legal fees argument everyone else has covered.

She hates quite a few women. Cameron Diaz looks too young. Anne Hathaway looks too frumpy. Bishop Budde is just SAD! Her stupid church only has 1.5 million members! All of them recruited individually by her! PATHETIC LOSER! Karla Sofia Gascon's going to win an Oscar because of WOKE!

And finally, the following searing topical insight:
As A 100mph storm lashes Britain with hurricane-force winds and torrential rain, I’m wondering if the person who named it Eowyn is a Lord Of The Rings fan. Eowyn is J.R.R. Tolkien’s heroine, the shieldmaiden of Rohan. That story had a happy ending, so let’s hope the current storm does too.
Fuck a duck. You don't say.

After 3 consecutive weeks of slagging off Harry and Meghan for visiting those people affected by the fires in LA, Amanda is now attacking Princess Beatrice because she has only released one picture of her new baby and this picture has the baby's faced partly obscured. The baby was born prematurely after a very difficult pregnancy and is probably still being fed via a feeding tube so it is hardly surprising that there are very few pictures of the baby. But this is not good enough for Amanda.
By pretentiously disguising the little one in the way she did, Beatrice undermines that unspoken contract between the Royal Family and the people.

And leaves us feeling who the hell does she think she is?
