I really don't feel comfortable about the direction these fuckwits are going in.
This is the UK spin off from the American CPAC.
The one that invites gun killers to speak and puts a gold statue of Donald Trump on stage.

The red wall was their T-party.
Dories is their Marjory Taylor Greene.
Goodness knows what they'll try to organise for their January 6th.

I can recall it being pointed out to a Tory MP in the mid nineties by Darcus Howe that black people went to church.

Not proper churches, though. They go to those Black churches with loud music and shouting.
This is the problem with their reading the USA playbook verbatim.
Some things (especially related to health, racial segregation and tipping) simply don't translate when they cross the Atlantic.

We may be a broad church but even the most openminded churchgoer does not want atheists as fellow travellers

Romanies are still fairly God fearing and are travellers. Always sure of a warm welcome in John Hayes’s constituency.

Why shouldn’t atheists be Conservatives, did the Enlightenment by-pass South Holland and Deepdale? Probably not as it wouldn’t exist.

Cos the same rag-tag bundle of genuine idiocy + dripping cynicism that the NatCs are wallowing in has a long history.

Like the way they tagged the last one on there. Famously, the left behind working class in Ashfield object to the NHS budget rising. Go on, run on cutting it. See how that piece of populism goes.

Murray/ UKIP/ Braverman don't care about Sunak winning, just like these types didn't care about John Major winning in 1997.

You look at these people, then you then look at clowns like Damien from Brighton and him who still owes me fifty quid and see the latter doing their damnedest to ruin Labour's chances of trying to bring back a modicum of decency to the country because in their twisted imaginations the likes of Kieth Starmer hur hur hur and Jess Phillips sabotaged St Jez's dream of a socialist Jerusalem. And you wonder what kind of a country another Tory government would rule over and think what lengths they would go to in ensuring Damien and co wouldn't be allowed anywhere near Twitter. And you realise that they still see the Centrist Melts and liberals as their real enemy and not for the first time you wonder what fucking planet they live on.

I didn't appreciate Danny Kruger's full genius.

I take it he's already told his constituents that their villages should have all this (social?) housing added to them. Fair play, if he has. "Brave", as Sir Humphrey might have said. But not as brave as telling eg Reading tech investors that they need to set up in Grimsby instead. Or perhaps they can stay in Reading provided all the jobs go to people from Reading? Who knows?

But his vision of high wages is refreshing. All those clever university types who've looked at productivity must be thinking "We've been wasting our time! It's so simple now Danny has said! Wives give up work, husband's wage shoots up!"

Hang on, I thought globalisation was bad? The City of London is "one of the UK's great advantages" now. Perhaps the City of London should only employ people from the immediate area or something?

The bit about manufacturing is bizarre too. Firms will set up whether there's an appropriate labour supply but that doesn't mean they're doing it for the sake of local people. Does Danny think they ought to keep unprofitable factories open forever?

This sounds like Mark Corrigan's Business Secrets of the Pharoahs. Sadly, Danny doesn't have to vanity publish his version though.
