Pleased to see that 'my' bit of France (Normandie-Manche 2nd District) has voted 63% for Ensemble (Macron, centralist). Rassemblement Nationale (fash) at c30%, which is a worry but not a disaster.

I don't think RN took any seats in Normandy, and the extreme gauche took a couple (including Cherbourg).

HOWEVER
It seems the historic schism between Upper and Lower Normandy still exists, with a lot of RN in Upper Normandy (Rouen excepted).

Will Macron seeks an assembly coalition with the centre left and greens but keep Melenchon and the Stalinist dafties out of the picture?
