I wonder...
Was Trumpet getting his retaliation in first?
Does he have beef with figure skaters?
Given the fragility of the urinal that passes as his personality, that is not beyond question.

They're convinced that DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) is to blame for everything.
You think so? Or is it that they want the public beyond their base to think that?
It's not an either/or.

In his ramble he blamed Obama, DEI and people of colour generally. Yet it was Musk and the DOGE that got rid of their boss (don't know his title) and could conceivably have contributed to poor staffing levels...

No it isn't, but Trump and his allies do have a track record of lying.
There appears to be evidence that air traffic control was understaffed due to Trump's actions (see Bones post) and that may well have been the cause - or at least have contributed to the accident.
Trump will be aware of that.
You may be right in your belief in Trump's sincerity but the (admittedly so far scant) evidence which we have indicates that he was actually lying.

Of course they do but at the same time I do think that they believe or have to come believe this is the case. Again it shouldn't be an either/or. It's also worth considering this.

According to Question Time, all staff hired under the DEI initiative were put on immediate paid leave a week ago. If that is correct then Trump knows full well that the crash cannot be the fault of someone hired under that initiative as none of them were on duty.
Therefore he doesn't believe it because he knows it's not true.
He is lying.

Flipping DEIs going AWOL when they're needed. etc etc etc.
Trump will never tell you an inconvenient truth.

Of course they're lying at the same time it doesn't contradict my earlier point about him and others believing DEI is bad.

But that wasn't your earlier point, was it. In response to Trump's speech you posted, "They're convinced that DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) is to blame for everything.". That's not saying Trump believes DEI is bad. That's stating that you think that Trump sincerely believes that DEI is to blame for the Washington air crash. There is growing evidence that Trump knows that cannot be true, he therefore cannot be "convinced that DEI is to blame", directly contradicting your earlier post.

He and those around him believe DEI is bad. I never said he believes it sincerely just that to him and others including Vance believe DEI to be bad because it means minorities get a leg up.

Anyone who believes BRICS countries will form a single currency are as loopy as Trump. Russia aside, will BRICS influence and trading ties with the ROW expand in vacuums Trump creates?
I'll go out on a limb and predict this is extremely likely.

According to Trump, it was a perfectly clear night, and that the helicopter could easily have taken evasive action; why no “attack” on the military?

Indeed. And everybody knows that everyone else is simply inferior to young, straight, white men.

He's going to build the entire plane out of whatever they build the black box from. After all, that thing's indestructible!*
*The basis of this joke being an understanding of the relative weights of Aluminium and Titanium, and the impracticality and inability to take off of any plane made mainly of Titanium.

The sinister subtext is that Musk had previous with "Top air safety guy".
Top Air Safety Guy had been regulating Space Karen's rocket shenanigans; not to Karen's liking.
You know the drill, don't point them at people (and Mexico contains people), don't smoke behind the fuel truck...
Cissy SpaceX gets appointed as chief firer in chief and tells Air Safety Guy to GTFO.
Air Safety Guy reads the tealeaves and gets the fuck out before the Proud Boys come a callin'.
The post is currently unfilled.
If an emergency appointment is made, it won't be a DEI.
It very likely will be a family member, a sentient potato from MMA / Wrasslin' or reality telly host on the wrong end of MeToo accusations.

Ah, the Inglorious Basterds hiring approach:

"I don't speak Italian at all!"
"Like I said, second most."

So you're denying that you posted "They're convinced that DEI (Diversity Equity and Inclusion) is to blame for everything."? You do realise that post is still there, don't you?
