I don't think she comes across well from that photo- she looks like Winston Churchill at Sidney Street, except a million times worse

She did seem to call people on trial "criminals" once and all.

My mistake, she doesn't necessarily want lynch mobs. She wants corporate cops shooting anyone who looks out of place.

Can't have the public running anything where a private enterprise could be making a profit, now.

I assume funding the World Service was part of the deal agreed with the government.

It used to be a Grant In Aid direct from the Foreign Office until 2014 - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BBC_World_Service

Yeah, I know. I meant that I expect the BBC agreed to carry on funding it as part of a deal with the government.
