This is utterly damning, and after seeing her question Raab, all too beleivable.

District Judge Paul Goldspring said he had found Webbe "untruthful" in her evidence.
"Some of the things she said I believe were made up on the spur of the moment," he said.
"Some things she said in the witness box just don't bear scrutiny.
"In short, I find Ms Webbe to be vague, incoherent and at times illogical."
He released Webbe on unconditional bail but warned her that she could face prison when she is sentenced on 4 November.
"Threatening to throw acid at somebody and to send intimate photographs to family members crosses the custody threshold," he added.
After the verdict, Webbe said: "I am innocent and will appeal this verdict. As I said in court and repeat now, I have never threatened violence nor have I ever harassed anyone."

Remarkable. Jez says it himself - quite astonishing the number of Corbynite acolytes that have found themselves in the dock and requiring Magic Grandpa’s “solidarity”.

I mean, how the FUCK did this blithering twat become leader of the Labour Party? He has done incalculable damage.

Ed Miliband is a fuckwit who listened to Len McLuskey.

In fairness to Moya I was expecting to go into a full throated defence of Webbe. Instead she's gone with this has nothing to do with Jeremy.

Being a character witness.

We were rightly critical of the way Tories when they did this so he doesn’t get a bye.

Mind you aren’t they both independents, perfect example on why we shouldn’t bother allowing him back in.

“Everyone can hear he was communicating non-verbally.”, has to be a contender for quote of the year, as does “I am not mad, I am a member of parliament.”.

From The Times.
"During the trial, Webbe had arrived at court holding hands with Thomas before accusing him from the witness box of subjecting her to domestic violence, coercive control and gaslighting.
She claimed that when a neighbour called police after hearing screaming at her home in Islington, north London, she was being abused by Thomas. She said that she did not tell the officers about the abuse because: “I did not trust the police to keep black men alive, to treat domestic abuse seriously.”
She claimed that during the call in which she threatened to send the naked photographs, she was actually speaking to Thomas while they had a “domestic”.
“I was being goaded and gaslighted. This is all about domestic abuse and coercive control,” she told the court. “I am not mad, I am a member of parliament.” When asked why Thomas was not recorded in a transcript of the call, she replied: “Everyone can hear he was communicating non-verbally.”
Webbe claimed her warning to Merritt to keep out of her “relationship” was a request to avoid breaking lockdown restrictions with Thomas because the term “household bubble” was not yet in use.
“We were in a national lockdown and so I asked her not to break lockdown with Lester,” she said. “She was committing a crime, I was pointing this out. I’m the victim.”

Why oh why oh why do they keep dragging Jeremy Corbyn into things that Jeremy Corbyn has voluntarily, directly and repeatedly involved himself in only days earlier? It's truly inexplicable. They'll be blaming him for the performance of the Labour party from September 2015 to April 2020 next.

Quite right. Frankly it's just another Blairite plot to take things Jeremy Corbyn has said and done and then report that Jeremy Corbyn has said and done these things.

Known as ‘smears’ by Jez fans.

That clip of him talking about Claudia Webbe, He all but says it's a fit up. I've had discussions with Jez fans on Facebook who've had more sense than that.

The judge is a racist because he's sending Claudia Webbe to jail for nothing, whilst Jess Philips gets off scot free. How much more proof do you need?

Dare I ask what Jess Phillips has done? Was it appear in the Guardian or have her hair cut or something relatively mundane that seems to irk them.

Jess Phillips' 'crimes' are many and varied (and fictional) but the most commonly cited one is that 'she threatened to stab Jeremy'. Apparently that has equivalence to Claudia Webbe threatening to throw acid in the face of a woman her paranoia led her to believe was having an affair with her partner.

Ah yes, because while we can be metaphorical, everything our opponents say must be taken literally.

Andy Burnham’s doing his Monty Python Yorkshireman act again and forgot he’s the mayor of a metropolis with the country’s most extensive urban tram network. Andy would be better off pitching off himself as ‘Champion of the West’ as its East-West routes in the south and north that are shambolic.

Mentioned this on Burnham's own thread. Boiler pointed out that Kings Cross to Welwyn is more expensive than that ticket of Burnham's and less far.

I note Andy has some new lefty friends, like this former Corbynite MP who is all over the real issues. I'm surprised she had a long and successful career in education before she was an MP. Immaturing with age?

When are we getting buses in Herefordshire like you get in Manchester, Andy? That's not a dig at Manchester, by the way. We just want the nice things that you have. And this is how we're treated when we speak up!

Is Andy going to run for the Northern Independence Party?
