His position there that religious schools should be "protected" from RSE is proper reactionary rubbish, which the Tories long ago knocked on the head.
I would think Galloway's antics are going to hurt left of Labour independents, who people will think are affiliated to him.

Galloway appears to be targeting Reform's core vote now.

Infuriating rhetorical prefix people seem determined to put into written speech.

A week is a long time in politics: Panesar quits Workers party after seven days
https://www.theguardian.com/sport/artic ... seven-days
The former England cricketer Monty Panesar has pulled out of standing for George Galloway’s Workers party of Great Britain after only one week, after admitting he needs more time to “mature and find my political feet ”.
Panesar had been selected to contest the Ealing Southall seat, currently held by Labour with a majority of 16,084, last Tuesday. But after a series of interviews where he displayed a sketchy understanding of the party’s policies he announced that he would no longer stand.

This is appalling. The Galloway Goon who shared it is a solicitor. A few complaints are heading into the SRA, one might expect.

With the amount of ridicule he's attracting, I can't see Monty Panesar surviving a week. Only question is will he jump or will Galloway boot him first?
I called it and I was only out by a day!

Does everybody in the Worker's party need their own bespoke headgear.
Like some kind of headgear specific Mister Benn.

This chap deleted his tweet about the woman accused of racism without any comment.
But here he is on local issues in Birmingham. It's the councils fault there's some rubbish on private land, apparently.

And here he is again, being an absolute wanker.
Doubtless this is all fine because the "real issue" of Shabana Mahmood having failed to stop genocide in Gaza.
An independent candidate standing in Birmingham said “70% of hell will be women” and joked about domestic violence on a podcast earlier this year, it has emerged, as polling suggests he is closing the gap with Labour.

Jody McIntyre's latest leaflet has the sensational news that he's endorsed by Galloway and Yakoob.

Absolutely mad from another of Galloway's goons.
1) In 1992, George Galloway was an obscure Labour backbencher known mainly for having defeated Roy Jenkins at the previous election. Dozens of people would have come ahead of him in terms of "dangerous to the establishment". Tony Benn, Tam Dalyell, Jeremy Corbyn for starters.
2) The RCP are two completely different parties with no antecedents or members in common. It's like thinking Blue Boy (who did the dance classic Remember Me) and Blueboy (fey Sarah Records geniuses) are the same.

Hope Not Hate famously never expose the Reform Party.
Absolute crank. Lots of her fellow candidates (though funnily enough not the ones running in seats with big Muslim populations) would chuck her in the sea.

3) Extremist parties often stand in favourable areas. The WP have no monopoly on protest votes.

I hold no secret passion for Team Gorgeous, but as noted by Ally Fogg over on the Twitters - which is where I first saw the story - this has received remarkably little coverage. Either the Galloway gang are making it up, which be headline-worthy in itself, or…well, read on.

Wajad Burkey, the party’s general election candidate for Sutton Coldfield, said his son had a head injury after being "beaten up" and was being treated in hospital. He has suspended his campaign.
West Midlands Police said a man was attacked by a group with a baseball bat on Beaconsfield Road in Sutton Coldfield on Sunday.

I dunno, even ruthless representatives of the Israeli secret service need a holiday sometimes. Is there a cathedral in Sutton Coldfield?
