Just one - when I arrived in the deputy head's office I was invited to sit down, but the chair was broken (he knew) and it fell over...
It was a hideous place.

Wurbleflump has complained to Starmer about that nasty Jess Phillips calling her out about her posting a pic of Ike and Tina on the latter's death.
In a remarkable bit of troll logic, she's decided that Phillips did this because Katherine's black, and not behaving like a black person should. After all, Phillips isn't shadow education secretary, and she doesn't criticise any other high public profile headteachers. So it must be the old racism.
1. Phillips is shadow minister for women, and is a tireless campaigner against domestic abuse. Maybe that's why she found Ike Turner objectionable.
2. Maybe there aren't any other high profile sleb headteachers making twats of themselves online?

She's still going on this? She ought to have admitted she didn't know about Ike (why should she? it's not Pop Quiz with Mike Read) and left it there.
“Her behaviour is a clear example of ‘unconscious bias’. I mean that she hates me, despite not knowing me, because she subscribes to the idea that Black and Asian individuals in public life owe a duty to voice opinions that match with a left-wing view of the world, or they are worthy of her contempt.”
What's that got to do with not knowing about Ike? File under "rightwing identity politics". Is she saying you can't criticise people you haven't met?

It took her a month to think that up.

Sir Keir seems to have filed her letter in the same place as Rachel Reeves has filed the letters she's getting from John Glenn.

There was a gobshite says it like it is headmaster in the 80s who would do the tabloid rounds. Think his name was something like Hunniford.

And the Twitter pile-on begins, because she can dish it out but she can't take it and like all bigots she thinks 'the Left' has a one size fits all mentality.

She's now moved on to calling Alex Andreou a racist.

Is it normal for a comprehensive head teacher to have so much free time on a Sunday afternoon?

As Twatter isn't letting me see the above things, can someone provide a precis of how this is unfolding, who is making schoolboy errors, who is generally acting the twat and so on?

Twitter is working properly for me again. Andreou's thread up there is the best place to start. Birbalsingh seems unlikely to refute it any time soon.

Birbalsingh is playing the "It's because I'm black and I won't do what you want" card. Her camp followers are split between that and Jess Is Common. The side of righteousness and truth are underhandedly using such dastardly things as fact and evidence to call out Ms B.

I notice that most of the media are happy to keep churning out the 'Britain's strictest headteacher' tag without taking any steps to establish if she really is the strictest headteacher. The fact that her school still seems to rely heavily on detentions years after it was set up would indicate that may be she isn't the strictest headteacher in Britain but that she is just very good at blowing her own trumpet. If she was truly strict surely the kids would be so scared of her that they would try and avoid detentions like the plague.
