If I were an American Politician I would totally go out and commit some crimes as the media have zero interest in any other story other than this.

Eh ? Go out and commit crimes because that won’t be covered in news media? Won’t police and law enforcement agencies be erm.. interested, even if it’s not in the paper?
That said, Donald Trump is probably taking your advice on board.

I get what TWA is saying. The orange shitgibbon is named numerous times in the Epstein papers but there's been nary a mention in the US media.

I expect you've all seen that Biden introduced Zelensky as "President Putin" at the NATO summit. I think that's probably it. That clip, minus the quick correction, will be viral until November 5th if Biden doesn't step down.
Whether Harris can beat Trump, I have my doubts, is America ready for a President who is female (let alone a woman of colour)?
Here's the clip, and the reaction, on Newsnight.

If the penny hasn't apready dropped.
America may be the thousand pound gorilla.
But it'll always be a gorilla.
Time to find common cause with our European allies, gulf states and nearby nations who'll make a common cause.

I think the media obsession with Biden's age is going to take a backseat.

Trump the heroically brave victim of liberal violence, I wonder how many votes that gunman's just handed him?

It is hilariously
glorious to me that there are a bunch of people replying to this tweet who have no idea who David Aaronovitch is, and have thus decided that he’s a dangerous lefty radical.
Also, it’s a crazy plan but it might just work.

Why would a gun nut shoot at Trump? A 20 year old registered Republican apparently who’s been killed so we may never know. Perhaps he had Ukrainian roots and regards Trump as a traitor.
Or maybe Trump saw Bob Roberts, Tim Robbins’ satire in which a sinister hard right populist fakes his own assassination to get himself over the line in an election.

A right winger of a libertarian persuasion who sees Trump as a would be dictator makes sense as a political motivation. And has been watching Christopher Walken in the Deadzone.

I've watched too much wrestling. My first thought was that he had ducked behind the lecture and gigged.*
* Gig - The blade a wrestler uses to cut themselves. The act of cutting oneself with a gig is sometimes referred to as gigging.[1] See blading.
