The irony is that in the past they were saved from their very worst shit by people they despise as traitors, like John McCain. For a while they might be saved by sane judges blocking shit. Even this Supreme Court isn't going to accept lots of it.

I think all this fuckwittery is designed to provoke a reaction. The pissed-off people take to the streets in protest. The government imposes martial law in response. Elections suspended for the duration of the 'civil crisis'. The fash are in the white house forever.

Whether or not it plays out like that remains to be seen. But that's what they're after.
