Like her hero, Rhodes Boyson (and whose subsequent career as an arsehole of an MP I suspect she wants to emulate).
I knew someone who worked in his school and she said that was fine because he was never there,
Unlike other heads I have known he didn't automatically put his speaking fees into the school fund...

This is incredible, even by her standards. From "none of that is true, media lies" to "the letter was sent out by mistake".
If Kath believes the British press makes life tough for attention seeking right wing populists, its not going well.

This has to be ignorance. It has to be,

If people know one thing about Tina Turner, it’s that she didn’t have good times with Ike.

It took her five hours to take that one down whereas she's usually all over Twitter every hour of the day . She knew exactly what she was doing.

Is it some mis-spoke reference to the Nat-C's "Staying married for the sake of the kids" sloganeering.

She’s also fucked herself over with her ‘excuse’ - that she copied a gif with multiple rotating images in and it froze on that shot. Only she’s posted gifs before and that hasn’t happened, and if it was a gif it would say so bottom left.
She selected that particular frame, copied or screenshotted it, and uploaded it as a static photo. For a prolific Twitter user the claims of incompetence are weak, so the chances are it was a deliberate ploy to wind up ‘the lefties’* where she thought she had a good get-out clause.
It’s also the sort of weak-arse excuse I’m sure she’d not accept in a million years from one of her poor pupils.
*which now apparently means anyone not keen on wife beating

For one so into knowledge curriculums, there's a lot of knowledge she doesn't seem to have.

It’s always there when the inadequates/bullies make “excuses”, the lashing out….”you’re lunatics” for pointing out my stupidity

On the other hand, I've met loads of evangelical teacher types through a regettable dalliance with a once infamous school in NE England. All of them were fiercy, proudly, militantly detached from popular culture.

As someone else said, it's like when the school definitely didn't send out that letter. It was the Deputy Head and they shouldn't have done, so that doesn't count.

I wonder if the endgame of them never admitting fault ever, no matter how trivial or small the thing and how massive the mountain they make out of the molehill gets, plays on their mind? That eventually, it’ll end with them sat in a GB News chair saying that no, the video of Boris Johnson’s trousers falling down as he left a posh hotel where he’d been with a mistress, revealing loads of silverware stuffed in rolled-up towels that he was attempting to steal, which was recorded in front of 100+ witnesses, doesn’t show he’s a thieving, cheating bastard. And in fact it was just a ‘misinterpretation’ and ‘misunderstanding’, he’d been interviewing a new nanny for his children and was obviously just taking the spoons he’d used home to clean as a favour, and the ‘leaking’ of the story was the work of the woke Westminster blob and although this only happened 10 minutes ago people just want to move on?

I did an official visit there when we heard about creationism being taught.
"We teach evolution
and creation and the children know what to believe..."
Andrew 'Adonis™' Adonis persuaded Tony Blair that evolution, like creationism, was a matter of faith, so no further action was taken...

Jean Paul Sartre's quote about anti-semites would seem to fit Ms. Birbalsingh & her ilk (though without any implicit anti-semite accusation of herself or her fellow travellers). They are allowed to play & act in bad faith against "the left" & their seriousness, while "the left"/"the blob"/"wokerati" etc. are not allowed to amuse themselves in the same manner. And when Birbalsingh & co are pressed too closely on their actions, they will insist in some way that either there is no further argument to be had, or that those asking such questions are acting in bad faith themselves (hypocrisy & a sense of common standards never bothers them).

Well, of course we know that the right have a proud tradition of engaging in rough and tumble banter, while the left cannot, as we know they have no sense of humour. As demonstrated by all the leftie comedians on TV...
