Even Nadine Dorries appears to be slagging him off. According to Nadine 'Entitlement is a despicable quality.'
I don't envy the job of which ever minister is going to be wheeled out to do the various round of TV interviews tomorrow, try to defend Williamson is going to be a tough job.

The Queen was very specific about her "No Shitheads" policy for the funeral.
Ahem...

Full exchange here.
What a charmer. The funniest bit is where he says "I know how this all works. Don't puss (sic) me about"

As the bullying didn’t work, Gavin tries some infantile guilt tripping with his poorly dog story.
Every week there’s going to be a pyschodrama or scandal with one deadbeat minister or other.

Wasn't he complaining Morton wasn't speaking to him in person? She couldn't very well if he was at the vet. I notice that Morton doesn't lose her rag here. She's focussed on getting the receipts and doesn't want to give him a hint of a "perhaps we both said things we regret" get out. Master strategist Gav outwitted by the worst chief whip ever.
In the meantime, more accusations v Williamson. See the right hand column.

This was clearly not a one of incident because he has a reputation for being a bit of a knob. Surely there needs to be a thorough investigation into whether or not other bullying allegations were made about him when he worked in other government departments.

That would be a "fishing expedition" or something. And doubtless a "kangaroo court" for good measure.

If it's a fishing expedition, Williamson is Nurse Ratched.

This piece by Jon Craig for Sky just drips venom...
https://news.sky.com/story/ex-fireplace ... sf-twitter
Ex-fireplace salesman Williamson feeling the heat over bullying allegations
Sir Gavin, the new Cabinet Office minister, allegedly sent abusive text messages to ex-chief whip Wendy Morton complaining that he and other colleagues had been excluded from the Queen's funeral for political reasons.
He was a fireplace salesman before becoming an MP.
Now he's truly - and deservedly, MPs believe - feeling the heat.
Controversially knighted by Boris Johnson back in March, Sir Gavin had a pretty dreadful record as a cabinet minister and has the unenviable record of being sacked twice.
The first time followed allegations that he leaked security secrets when he was defence secretary, the second after a torrid stint as education secretary in which he presided over school exam chaos during the COVID pandemic.

No way he survives this. In fact, he’ll be lucky to keep his knighthood.

Hopefully all the people who he has bullied in the past have kept the evidence.

Thing is Sunak should really suspend him pending the investigation, it’s not like he has any office of note.

He's a guaranteed vote on Sunak's side around the table. That's all.

We've known what he was for a while, but nobody seems to've wanted to touch the story:

Channel 4 news this evening did a real number on Williamson, in particular with damning testimony from the woman who was his deputy as Chief Whip(her name is Anne Milton, chucked out the party by Johnson for pointing out that Brexit was a pile of shite), from Bob Kerslake, and from Anneliese Dodds(doing a great job). Hard to see how Sunak can possibly keep him on.
