Who's been the prime minister that left the UK in "deep trouble", Matt?

I thought Matt was all into culture wars.

Lots of tax cuts being announced. Is Matt concerned about this? I thought "left on the economy" was his thing?

Presumably those 50,000 new nurses will do the gig "for the publicity".

Just passing on polling results. Who said the quote at the top?

I'm no political scientist but relying on the transformative poltical genius of Boris Johnson seems like a bad idea.

He must be incandescent at Truss invoking Thatcher. Or was "left on the economy" not really all that important all along?

Isn’t blaming liberal wokes and immigrants for inflation, economic decline, strikes and fuel bills working anymore for Matt? Its the economy, stupid, always was and always will be when the shite hits the fan.

Has anyone ever noticed that bigots always describe fellow travellers as "The brilliant..."?

How do they get away with this schtick? It's so transparent.
Famously Goodwin doesn't rant about people he's never met who have different views to him.
I mean, I don't reallt like Birbalsingh much but at least she can point to free school meal kids in her school doing well in exams. What's Goodwin's done? I've never heard him talk about outreach work he's done at Kent or anything.
Per Jonathan Portes, some of the work this unit has done lately has been good, expert led stuff. I assume that's about to change.

Yeah, exactly.
It's a reflex, like old male TV presenters calling women "the lovely..,,"

We have a winner. Matthew Goodwin's qualification is "coming from an ordinary background".
I'm not putting it up because some random Twitter bloke said it, but because Goodwin seems to make a lot of this himself. Is it any more "ordinary" than Woke Lefty Elitist Sir Keir?

Grew up with only his fists and his wits on the mean streets of St Albans.
