Don’t be too hard on Noel
Noel Edmonds is accused of running off to New Zealand to avoid paying £1million debt to Bad Boy Brexit creditor Arron Banks - who says: 'No Deal is not an option!' https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/articl ... Banks.html

I love that Banks paid good money to investigators who were able to reveal that Noel was in a lush area of New Zealand. Are there parts of New Zealand that are not lush?

If only we, the public, had similar insight into Banks' overseas activity.

Poor Dan Neidle has tangled with some of these.
It's the same old bollocks that anti-tax rightwingers deal in. But there's a progressive spin to it, that refusing to pay taxes is a stand against genocide. With the piece de resistance that spending money instead of paying tax isn't tax evasion, but "putting it into my local community". Write that one on your letter to HMRC when they come after you.

That lawyer was last seen advising Al Capone.

I've never heard of this. Which genocide is being funded by the UK Treasury?
What a load of bollocks.

More on the scheme.
It's "write a postdated cheque" (or cash, but why would you do cash?). Plus "trust". And for some reason you only need to cover 10% of the tax due.

Just a quick reminder that no strategy advised by these sovereign citizen freemen on the land types has ever worked.

Yeah, about that.
I reckon substituting "genocide" for "terrorism" is unlikely to change the result.

Oh man, it's council tax! It's not even central government tax, where you might stretch a point and say that the government is indirectly supporting genocide or whatever.

There might be issues under whatever the Trades Description Act became, what with it being Jewish-Flemish cuisine, and all that.

Yep. I'm not particularly keen on Conservation Areas in London (some old houses that exist everywhere else?!) but they are strict, and people pay a premium to live in them. Such people can afford lawyers and will get on the councils back until they fix it.
