The fat cunt Harry Arsecole on Sky newspaper review claiming that it shows Starmer 'was having a good time' and was essentially partying.
I do wish the news channels showed a little integrity in choosing their contributors...
Or challenged them occasionally...

Fuck me, Owen Jones.
https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfr ... n-beergate
For Keir Starmer’s team, Beergate has proven to be a bonfire of delusions.
It may well be that Durham police, which took no action over Dominic Cummings’ eye-testing sojourn to Barnard Castle, absolves the Labour leader over lockdown beers and curry after a campaign event last year. Even so, this episode offers salutary lessons. The whole shtick of Starmer’s team is that the grownups are back in the room. Jeremy Corbyn and his team, they believed, were fundamentally bad at politics, and brought rightwing media attacks on themselves, the thrust of which Starmer’s team believed were largely justified anyway.
I thought Corbyn was bad because he talked the sort of shit he's still talking about Ukraine.
I'm sure nobody close to Starmer thought that he wouldn't get attacked- see Milliband, Gordo, Blair (more than is sometimes remembered), Kinnock, Foot etc. Just that Corbyn made it much easier to land blows than any of them did.

What?! It people standing around, relaxing a bit, but not as much as Johnson slumped on the seat with wine and cheese- an event the Met aren't investigating, because it fell under work.

Fucking hell. "Meet Keir Event"?
But hasn't he just admitted it was a campaign event. That's funny, because that's work. That's perfectly legal.
They really are shitting themselves, one of their “journalists” posting about the party Labour had booked for 40 that they cancelled when the lockdown rules changed. They’ve been played by Labour and now seen less Cockahoop than they were on Friday lunchtime.

I wonder if they intended Durham Police to reopen the investigation? As I always say, were they only supposed to blow the bleeding doors off? ie create a stink about Starmer having been treated differently.
If Starmer is cleared, then they look very stupid.

Who is this “left wing” which have been alienated? it’s not like he has banned momentum but after the stunt that other shit pulled I wouldn’t blame Starmer if he does.
I’m still left wing and feel far more comfortable having a Labour leader that doesn’t make a persecuted race feel worried for their future.
Anyhow apparently “I was just passing by”student would have actually had to trespass to get the shot he got of Starmer having a beer as it’s about 100 yards down the path way from the road.

Yup the day of the election the Mail dropped Beergate and it also dropped it the day after, effectively it was an election thing, now he has offered his resignation if fined it’s front page again because they can’t ignore it, they know it’s a disaster for them and they know what they’ve offered is utterly flimsy, in fact What you’ll get next is Labour PCC set up investigation for Starmer to be “cleared” I’ve already seen it posted by some of the “true socialists” and the “Bigdogborisisbest” lot, coming from that lot to claim Labour is bent is rich

It'll become a new PIE, some bit of "what was that business, bit murky, never really cleared up, was it?" to.bash Labour whenever nothing better presents itself.

“Yet his real scandal - his dishonest leadership campaign - is ignored, because the victims of that dishonesty were left-wing.”
Any other “victims” of Corbyn’s reign you’d like to mention

Just piss off Jones.
You used to have something relevant to write about.
Now you're just promoting labour infighting, and acting as a tory asset.
Not the first leftist scribbler to "cross the floor".
Maybe among the first to do so unwittingly.

Reverse ferret, Starmer mustn't resign!

No one was harmed in the eating of Sir Keir's curry. It simply doesn't matter enough to force him out of office
