I suppose Daisy must be a relative Lib Dem big hitter. Who's bigger? Sarah Olney, maybe, having won her by-election and won again in 2019?

The Ed Davey- Tim Farron team must be doing a lot of heavy lifting, but in any case the public don't know many politicians. Philip Hammond wouldn't have been recognised when he was Chancellor.

Jesus. Her "honest answer" is she knows less than her (presumably not that old) children. "Without jargon". Surprised she didn't think she needed to draw a picture for the audience. Mentions grants for some household improvements "but I can't afford a heat pump, I might get my roof insulated better".

The Liberals would often have some schtick to stand out: being very fat, talking like a pirate, campaigning with a bloodhound or hiring a hitman.

Probably proof if proof was needed these focus groups don’t exist that have a pretence that Boris is popular.

Look at that Tiverton result that’s not normal. Viscount Palmerston had recently been a LD when they last had a LD MP in Tiverton (Hugh Fortescue in 1881, the dad of the more famous one).
