Yeah, I think this may be bollocks.

More political genius by Rishi.

Rishi Sunak has donated more than £100,000 to his old boarding school Winchester College
The chancellor's spokeswoman said: "Rishi and his wife have donated to numerous charities and philanthropic causes for many years and will continue to do so.

"These donations are made to help fund scholarships for children who would not otherwise have the opportunity to go to Winchester."

These look like they stopped in 2015. Did some Malcolm Tucker-like Tory figure get hold of him as a new MP and tell him to stop? Otherwise, did Rishi, champion of good education for the poor, suddenly conclude Winchester was bad?

Rishi's faded faster than John Moore in the eighties.

Deadweight Rishi. How, in any acceptable sense, can this be acceptable? Your tax bills are going through the roof while Ms Murty would rather abstain from such mucky goings on.

This is just beyond any of those accusations of taking the piss, but it is difficult to budge the thought that this is a convenient and orchestrated leak with a certain Mekon banker drawing on old favours.

The explanation is suspicious too. Of course she pays tax on UK income. It's the foreign income that's the thing with non doms.

Thing is he sank himself it’s almost like they looked beyond the facade of meal deals and saw what a lightweight he actually was.

You can't call them racist - no matter what colour, creed or religion you'll get thrown under the bus the very second you outlive your usefulness.

As a one off episode this is manageable; Mrs Sunak will pay tax on UK income and Indian citizens can’t be dual nationals. But Rishi has had to do too much explaining lately. Its harder to hide your ineptitude, lack of character and judgement behind clownery if you’re the chancellor.

A spokeswoman for Murthy said: “Akshata Murthy is a citizen of India, the country of her birth and parents’ home. India does not allow its citizens to hold the citizenship of another country simultaneously.

I wonder if Mrs May had one of her “go home lorries” park at the end of the drive

And this leaves photoshoot Liz or sticking with the increasingly unpopular Johnson, given the latter has purged anyone half competent from the party and anyone else who fancied a go has already shat/is currently shitting their own beds and/or is so awful they'd be a gift to the opposition ('Sir' Gavin Williamson, Patel, Javid). Who else is there apart from the fetid contents of the ropiest cabinet since MFI's 1980s heyday? Jeremy fucking Hunt?!?

I'd pity the rock/hard place choice of Tory party members if it weren't for the fact they're the exact same cunts who got us here in the first place.

And more so when it's yet another example of One Rule for Them.

Oh for the days of a genial and harmless Jimmy Hanley or Iain Lang to step up.

As I no longer pay NI I’d missed the fact that the increase comes in now, but the new threshold doesn’t come into effect until July

Jeremey Hanley. Or to give him his full title, the gaffe prone former Tory Chairman.

Yep, The PM can settle on any old bollocks, but the Chancellor is expected to focus on the day job.

I think this is a big problem for Rishi.

If Jimmy Carr's tax arrangements were public property, hard to see how the Chancellor's wife's aren't. And Carr just put some money through Jersey. He wasn't living in the 10 Downing Street flat and claiming he wasn't domiciled in the UK. The explanations put out by her have been bollocks too. I don't normally take too much notice of Richard Murphy, but he would seem to have a very fair point that her non dom status ought to be open to challenge.

There's also the furlough point. She was an investor in the company that went bankrupt after claiming furlough. Obviously, that's not a master tax dodge, and she would have likely lost a fair bit of money on the company. But again, it looks awful to claim a not insubstantial amount of money from the Treasury while opting not to pay full UK tax.

Hilarious effort by James Cleverly to say it was nobody's business. In his previous role as chief bruiser, he went after.... Jeremy Corbyn's son, for the egregious offence of renting out a flat on Airbnb.

Ah right, I couldn’t work out how I was better off on one site and worse off on another this must be the reason, will be useful considering my rent has gone up by nearly 100 and my wage had dropped by £14

Interesting here. Just look at the first flowchart. If Mrs Sunak has firm plans to remain in the UK, she ought to be a UK resident. I expect she can argue that she doesn't have plans, though that might sit a bit oddly with living in Downing Street with a bloke who wants to be Prime Minister.

Do
