I've seen a few rightwingers adopt the "used to be left wing when it was about miners, but now it's all women and foreigners" stance

Until you tell them your interest is workplace and economic fairness and not culture war. Then they'd rather talk about golliwog bans and too many gays on Doctor Who.

Hadley's definitely a Tory although their music is definitely yuppie-era white soul aimed at aspirationals.

That lot have had an excuse not to vote Labour ever since they bought their council houses. The Looney Left became Kinnock the Windbag and although they briefly thought Blair was alright, since 2005 it's been a combination of illegal wars, immigrants, Marxism and wokery.
