Suggestion here that it might be a problem. No idea what happened with this case.

I'm not saying he'll sue, just that it's inviting the artist to rip the piss out of the politician.

There is no longer an elected mayor for Bristol, he is hoping to run the West of England Combined Authority (WECA)

It would be simple, and definitely accurate, to change this from Bristol to West of England while still maintaining the alliteration.

WECA consists of Bristol, Bath & North East Somerset and South Gloucester. They are investing heavily in sustainable transport as the M5 is a car park all Summer long. This is obviously a good thing to sensible people but is probably WOKE!!!!1!

The current major is Labour's Dan Norris. Previous elections were under a supplementary vote system but this time it will be first past rhe post. Not sure of any polling but the Greens will fancy their chances and the Lib Dems are recovering in the South West so the grown ups' vote could split three ways.

One of the Reform candidates in Kent has claimed that if the Party take control of the county council they will introduce their version of DOGE to cut council spending. Given that most county councils have spent the last 14 years cutting spending I think Reform will struggle to find more cuts. The only areas left to cut appear to be social care, special education needs and road repairs. I don't think cuts in any of those areas will win you many votes.

Seems like no one reads their manifesto anyhow so they should only find issues once they got elected.
