Like GBNews, this isn't a commercial venture but influence for his putrid views. Hopefully he's going to be spending a fuck of a lot of cash in the next few years on swivel eyed loons who won't see a whiff of power.
The Spectator has been sold for £100m to Sir Paul Marshall, a hedge fund tycoon and major investor in GB News.

He beat around 20 other bidders to buy the right-leaning magazine, once edited by former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.

It went back on sale in April after an Abu Dhabi-backed bid to buy it along with the Daily Telegraph and the Sunday Telegraph collapsed. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cn8 ... e=web_link

Fraser Nelson was on the news earlier claiming that Paul Marshall had no editorial input into how GB News is run, so it must have been a mere coincidence that Marshall's son appeared as a guest on the channel.

I really can't see why Marshal would spend £100m in a magazine and then have no say in its editorial direction.
