Steady the buffs people, one of the worst individuals on the internet has a take on our troubled times…

Admittedly Linehan is such a pitiful husk of a human being that bringing him up at all almost feels like cheating, but he was, until fairly recently, still able to attract borderline-sympathetic coverage from mainstream outlets. And yet here he is, at the very least nursing a semi at the thought of the united white (very important, the white bit) Protestant and Catholic working classes joining forces to punish the immigrants and the transes and the non-binary weirdos and those bastards like Stewart Lee and Owen Jones who have lives like what he used to have.

Looking for a silver lining in this, obviously some of it is being directed to try and make Labour look bad early in their term. But what it’s actually doing is giving them a chance to arrest a lot of the worst buffoons, sort out violent protest law and show they won’t stand for it. And the coming together of communities to protect and repair each other’s properties and businesses has been lovely to see. Just a huge shame about the circumstances.

And also an MP. With actual scrutiny and accountability. Guy's fucked. He still seems to think he can cheer from the sidelines and hasn't quite realised what he's got himself into.
And yet he's got away with everything so far.

The difference is that he's never been accountable before, now he is an MP.
He's also lost the protection of a government stuffed full of admirers.
I really hope so.

Point of note on the original tweet - most of the "Catholics" were from anti-immigrant groups that made their way up from the Republic (the image of the banner "Collock Says No" being prime evidence here, Collock is in Dublin for those unaware) and are receiving plenty of ridicule for standing alongside the UDA/UVF and their supporters - near enough any northern Catholic that might otherwise have sympathy with such a political idea knew to stay well away from demonstrations organised by Loyalist paramilitaries no matter how "hands across the divide" they might have pretended to be to attract such support.

Also no mention of the counter-protest that was organised at the same time that had larger numbers than the other one.

It would be completely wrong if Robert Jenrick was beating his wife or murdering puppies.

The best response I've seen from the leadership candidates is Priti Patel's. I don't like her much, but I'd be surprised if her Dad's newsagent wasn't threatened by the sort of people who are kicking off now. Jenrick, Farage and co haven't.

Actual Labour councillor here. He ought to be out on his arse. This is why Starmer's people don't want the left anywhere near Labour.

Sir Keir adopting the unprecedently racist position that people with no right to be in the country might reasonably be deported.

No, they ought to be split up.
"Bad boy camps" serve to cement the Bruderschaft of internees.
We don't want them emerging as a cohesive organisation.

Global evidence suggests that smaller prisons produce less re-offending / better rehabilitation.
Meanwhile mega-jails produce phenomena, and end up being run my the Mexican Mafia / Aryan Brotherhood.

Bloody hell. He really isn't fucking about, is he?

"I guarantee you'll regret taking part in this disorder, whether directly or those whipping this up this action online."

"or those whipping up this action online"

That's big.
