I may have done this lot a bit of a disservice. Brexit nodding dogs they may be, but they at least have noticed that Universal Credit is an in work benefit, and can see the headlines from here.

Doesn't have to altruistic. It's just interesting to me that they've clocked the political problem, which Sunak and Johnson haven't.

The Tories do pretty well among white low paid workers now. Going to be lots of those in the constituency of these MPs.
