The High Court has ruled that the Home Office's decision to house migrants in a "squalid" barracks in Folkestone was unlawful.

Six migrants claimed housing at Napier Barracks was "unsafe" and dormitory use caused a Covid-19 outbreak.

Lawyers said the accommodation in Kent breached human rights, but the Home Office said providing short-term housing there was lawful.
