Thin gruel here (Herefordshire). We're a unity with no council elections. Just police commissioner elections (West Mercia, which covers us, Worcestershire and Shropshire). You can guess how that's likely to go. I don't even agree with these positions existing, but I've got to vote (it being a referendum on Starmer).

I have more and more time for this man. An unlikely rebel, but clearly not intimidated by the BBC Westminster Tory clique:

In Leicestershire its County Council (will remain blue), and PCC.
Only have to walk across the road to exercise my right.
The Blue candidate for County Council in our ward is Thikki Nikki Morgan's husband, will get in as our ward would vote for an abandoned pedal bin so long as it was blue

Full kit and caboodle - councillors, mayor, metro mayor and PCC. Been varying between sunny and very overcast all morning. Going after work.

Everything but a metro mayor here. Postal votes already in, since I didn't fancy hanging around a cramped polling station for an undetermined amount of time.

We've got metro mayor and PCC, which will be interesting as Julia Hambleton, pub bombs justice campaigner, is standing for the latter. Sandwell will also be worth looking at as Labour did have something like 68 out of 72 but there's been a lot of in-fighting with former Labour councillors standing as independents.
